Great accommodation and easy to deal with owners. Whilst the front rooms are somewhat older and have that typical small country town feel, there is a great 2 room apartment out the back. Complete with laundry and huge lawn area. would suit families very well. Looks terrible from the front road, but looks are deceiving once you head out the back of the building. One of the best we have stayed in during our many trips working around Aust. Highly recommend.
We stayed one night in the back unit. The owners were great, they fitted us in on short notice. The units were clean and comfortable. I suggest booking in advance as they are often booked up.
Spill the Beans over the road has great meals. Google maps got it wrong, I didn't stay at Casterton Residence, but have heard it is very well set up and comfortable.
